Patient Centered Dentistry
Dr. James Damascus works as a solo practitioner to ensure the highest standard of care possible for each patient. Patients can expect individualized treatment planned to meet their aesthetic goals, meticulous attention to detail, and a holistic approach taking into consideration patients’ underlying health factors.
Dr. Damascus served as a resident at Montefiore, the teaching hospital for the Dr. Albert Einstein Medical School, in New York City. He is a third-generation dentist.
Cosmetic Dentistry
Cosmetic dentistry is aimed at creating a positive change to your teeth and to your smile. Teeth whitening, veneers, dental bonding, tooth recontouring, gum recontouring, and other cosmetic procedures can have a dramatic result on your appearance. During his time at University of Detroit Mercy, Dr. Damascus gave patients a new, life-changing smile.
Crown & Bridge
Crowns and bridges are a fixed solution to missing or damaged teeth. This restorative procedure uses prosthetic devices to return your smile to its natural state. A crown is used with the tooth structure is damaged or fractured. A bridge is used when one or more teeth are missing. We use only the highest quality of materials.
Preventative Dentistry
Regular oral exams, usually every six months, teeth cleaning, and X-rays are important to maintaining good oral health. We can identify any potential problems while they are possible to avoid, help patients build healthier habits, and refer you to dental specialists if you need further care. Restorative services include fillings, extractions, and root canals.
Teeth Whitening
Dental cleaning and polishing may be enough to remove superficial stains, but for those that penetrate the enamel and even dentin, a more robust approach is needed. Dr. Damascus creates a unique plan for each patient that incorporates existing dental work in the context of overall tooth and gum health. We offer in-office Zoom Whitening and Opalescence Whitening products.
Emergency Care
Open throughout the weekend, Dr. Damascus is able to see patients when their regular dental office may be closed.
Dental Implants
It can take six to eight months for dental implants to fully heal. Dr. Damascus works to maintain the health of his patients’ dental implants and monitor their success.
